The Octagon Barn - A Winter Wonderland Wedding

Being a videographer at a wedding is always a special and exciting experience, but being a part of a beautiful intimate winter wedding at the 17th Century Octagon Barn in Little Plumstead was truly unforgettable.

Nestled in the tranquil Norfolk countryside, the Octagon Barn provided a stunning backdrop for this winter wonderland wedding, complete with frosty trees, fire pits and festive decorations.

Louisa and Simeon were our Bride and Groom on this occasion and we loved filming the huge amount of smiles and giggles they had for each other. The ceremony was held in the heated outside barn, with joy and excitement to warm the guests’ chilly fingers. They exchanged rings, in front of their adorable little flower girls and guests, then sealed their love with a kiss under the winter sky.

After the ceremony, the guests were treated to a delicious roast dinner in the spacious main barn. One of the most memorable moments of the day was a surprise visit from Santa Clause himself! The kids (and adults!) were overjoyed as Santa handed out gifts and took photos with the guests, then had a little boogie on the dance floor. Who knew Santa loved to dance?! It was such a joyous and festive moment, and we were so grateful to have been able to capture it on film.

Later in the evening, the guests enjoyed sparklers, and a mariachi band ( yes the one from the Dorito advert! ) took to the stage, filling the barn with lively music and song. Louisa and Simeon, along with their guests, danced the night away, twirling and spinning in each other's arms as they celebrated their love and the start of their life together.

The Octagon Barn was the perfect setting for this winter wonderland wedding, and we will never forget the love, laughter, and memories that filled the air that day.
